Restaurant news: Let the chef cook the turkey

City Tavern

All you can eat turkey for $15 a person beginning at noon, including two side items. Children 6-10 are $8, kids 5 and younger are free. A limited menu will also be available throughout the day. Stop by City Tavern on Black Friday for lunch and brunch beginning at 10 a.m. Discounts will be offered on gift cards throughout the day. Can't make it either of these days? The Liberty

A three-course menu is available from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. for $24.95 per person. Choices include turkey with heirloom sweet potato fingerlings, a lobster, smoked trout and a jumbo lump crab "cake," salt-crusted prime rib and more. The dessert bar is all-you-can-eat and includes selections such as chocolate cake, pumpkin pie, brownies, banana pudding and apple crisp. Reservations are recommended; kids 10 and younger are $7.95.

Harper's Restaurant

Harper's is serving traditional fare from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Choice of an entrée, three sides and one dessert are included in the price per person. Menu highlights include slow-roasted prime rib, classic herb-brined turkey breast, cornbread stuffing, sweet potato casserole, collard greens and more. Cost: $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and $10 for children 12 and younger.

The Palm

A three-course Thanksgiving meal is available here for $45 per person (kids 12 and younger are $18.95). Choice of soup or salad, hand-carved, slow-roasted turkey with home-style stuffing and homemade cranberry sauce, a side and dessert are included. The Palm's regular dinner menu will also be available.

SouthPark and Uptown locations are offering a three- course dinner for $36 per person beginning at 2 p.m. Choice of salad, sliced oven-roasted turkey breast, a side and pumpkin cheesecake with vanilla ice cream are included. A children's menu is available for $14.

The Ballantyne Hotel and Lodge
