The Ethel Waters Exhibit: "His Eye Is On The Sparrow":
One of the most influential African American women in history, Ethel Waters (1896-1977), began her career as a jazz singer and went on to become an award-winning vocalist and star of stage and screen. In 1957, she began touring with the Billy Graham Crusades, singing her trademark song, "His Eye Is On The Sparrow."
