Orchid Spectacular:

For more than 100 years orchid hunters have faced tropical diseases, wild animals, cannibalistic tribes, floods, and often fierce competition from each other all in the quest to capture the exotic beauty of the planet's most spectacular plant species: the orchid. The Ethel Waters exhibit - "His Eye Is On The Sparrow":

Ethel Waters (1896-1977) began her career as a jazz singer and became an award-winning vocalist and star of stage and screen. In 1957, she began touring with the Billy Graham Crusades, inspiring thousands with her trademark song, "His Eye Is On The Sparrow." The Ethel Waters Exhibit will feature memorabilia from her remarkable career and showcase photos from her years on the Billy Graham Crusade team. 9:30 a.m. Free. Thomas McNickle and William Partridge Burpee:

Thomas McNickle's work has been exhibited in more than 40 museum and gallery exhibitions and can be found in numerous collections.
