South Charlotte

Summer camp providers should enter information now for The Charlotte Observer’s annual summer camp database to be published March 1

If you sponsor a summer camp, now’s the time to be included in The Charlotte Observer’s online database and in print.

On March 1, the community news sections of the Observer will publish our annual summer camps database. Each year, hundreds of camp providers list their camps, along with dates, age requirements, locations, schedules and other information, in our database so parents can have quick access to detailed information.

The submission deadline this year for all camp providers is Feb. 15.

Go online to and put in your information. You can list as many camps as you want.

The camps will be published online by The Charlotte Observer and in the community news sections that serve your geographic area. Please note that, because there are space limitations in the print editions, not all camps will be included in all zones. Each community news section may have only the camps that are within that particular circulation area.

The complete list will be online only.

Camp descriptions can be no more than three sentences. That will help us get more listings in the online database and in print.

So go ahead and enter your camp information. We look forward to including you in our publications.
