Computer training: Get one-on-one lessons from a technology tutor volunteer, 4:30-7:30 p.m. Monday at University City Regional Library, 301 E. W.T. Harris Blvd.

Training will be offered for Microsoft Office, the Internet, email and online applications. For an appointment, call 704-416-7200 and choose option No. 4.

Highland Creek

Treasure Hunt: Highland Creek Elementary will have a yard sale to raise money for school programs, 8-11 a.m. April 30 at 7242 Highland Creek Parkway.

On Campus

Film Screening: See the documentary "Freedom Riders" at 2 p.m. April 27 and 28 and May 3 at the student union movie theater, 9201 University City Blvd. Admission is $2 and free for UNC Charlotte students.

"Freedom Riders" is about more than 400 Americans who stood against the Jim Crow laws by riding on buses together through the Southeastern U.S. in 1961.

Pavilion

Easter celebration: Sunday worship and a community Easter celebration featuring NeedToBreathe will begin 10:30 a.m. today at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, 707 Pavilion Blvd.

Mecklenburg Community Church's ministry for children, Meckidz, will host egg hunts on the lawn before and after the service. Tailgating will start at 8:30 a.m. Amphitheater will open at 9:30 a.m. Details: www.easteratverizon.org.
