Derita

Rezoning meeting: A community meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 2020 W. Sugar Creek Road. Residents can learn about a request to rezone renovated property at Derita Corners, 5741 N. Graham St. Louis G. Ratcliffe Inc. is asking the city to rezone the commercial and office property from a general business to a mixed-use category. The zoning change would allow the company to lease space for a community theater and night club that serves alcohol.

On Campus

Movies: The Student Union Movie Theater will host a screening of "The Lincoln Lawyer" at 6 p.m. Monday. "I Am Number 4" will be screened at 6 and 9 p.m. June 30 and July 1 and 2. Admission is free for UNC Charlotte students and $1 general admission.

Online course

Introduction to Computer Forensics: The course, being offered July 1-31, will include an overview of digital forensics and will explore litigation skills used by computer forensic experts.
