Junior Achievement

Bowl-A-Thon: Employees from Foundation Financial Group hit the bowling lanes June 3 to raise money for Junior Achievement of the Central Carolinas, which provides business education programs in elementary grades through high school.

Junior Achievement connects volunteers with students through in-class activities, school programs, after-school programs and workplace experiences.

"Organizations such as Junior Achievement give students valuable exposure to the business community through mentoring programs, so it's a great cause we are pleased to support," said Mark J. Scarrow, senior vice president and district general manager for Foundation Financial Group's Charlotte center.
