Back to School: Our Foundation for Children will host a back to school celebration and health fair noon-3 p.m. Saturday at Thereasea Clark-Elder Park. Wildlife sightings: Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation is still receiving calls about coyote sightings, according to a report from Reedy Creek Nature Center. Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation has no plans for removal or trapping, the report says. Coyotes are considered part of the local wildlife and important as predators. Anyone who comes face-to-face with a coyote should back away slowly and leave.
