Activist in residence: Filmmaker and writer Jennifer Baumgardner will give a series of free, public talks on feminist and bisexual activism Oct. 17-20 as UNCC's first activist-in-residence. Among the events: Baumgardner, former editor of Ms. magazine, will lead a workshop, "Grassroots: Community Activism," 9-11 a.m. Oct. 19 and 21.
