Neighborhood conservation: Feb. 15 is the deadline to apply for grants from Power2 Live Green, the city of Charlotte's neighborhood energy challenge.
Neighborhood organizations that have been active for at least three months can apply for up to $10,000 for projects that involve alternative transportation, energy-efficient home improvements and lighting, upgrades to Energy Star-certified appliances and other projects.
