St. Peter's Episcopal

Recital: Aaron Goen, assistant organist and choirmaster, will present a recital on St. Peter's new Fisk, Op. 136 pipe organ, the building and installation of which was completed in 2011 as part of the renovation of the historic uptown church. Free; a free-will offering will go towards maintenance of the organ and continued programming for the concert series. St. Gabriel Catholic

Food donation: On Feb. 25, the St. Gabriel Girl Scouts collected 1 1.2 tons of nonperishable food for Catholic Social Services food pantry, the largest one-month donation for the Share Sunday food drive. The monthly campaign collects food during the weekend Masses and then delivers it on Mondays to Catholic Social Services. The Girl Scouts, led by Troop 559, participated in the food drive to commemorate 100 years of scouting. www.stgabrielchurch.org.
