‘Come out with your hands up!’ police command at Charlotte incident

Numerous police responded to a situation in southeast Charlotte on Wednesday night.

“Come out with your hands up!” officers could be heard commanding someone over a loudspeaker, according to Observer news partner WBTV.

Firefighters and Medic also responded to the incident on Shiredale Lane at about 8 p.m.

The call was for a suicide threat but turned out to be an intoxicated person, WSOC-TV reported.
