2 defendants found not guilty in Charlotte man’s killing

A jury on Wednesday found two defendants not guilty in the 2015 killing of a man in northwest Charlotte, the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office said.

But murder and robbery charges remain against a woman in the shooting of 49-year-old Shawn Lovell Parker, prosecutors said. Parker was shot and robbed in a home near Rozzelles Ferry Road, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said.

A Mecklenburg County Superior Court jury found Diondre Montrez Bittle, 25, and Cordero Lamont McCoy, 26, not guilty in the case.
