A fourth shooting incident has been reported in Charlotte, which has already had two homicides over the Mother's Day weekend.
Medic reported Sunday at about 3:30 p.m. that three people were shot in the 1900 block of Irma Street in the Lincoln Heights area of Charlotte. One of the three has life threatening injuries, and has been transported to Carolinas Medical Center, Medic says.
The two other victims had minor injuries, and were also taken to Carolinas Medical Center, Medic said in a tweet. The two may have been "grazed" by bullets, Medic reported.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police area headed to the scene, along with the Charlotte Fire Department, Medic reports.
Two people have died in Charlotte over the Mother's Day weekend in separate shootings and five others were injured. The shooting on Irma Street brings the number of gun-related injuries to eight for the weekend.
