A man reported missing last week was found dead in a creek just north of uptown, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.
A man’s body was found in Alexander Street Park at about 8 a.m. Sunday after a person walking a trail spotted the body in Little Sugar Creek, which runs through the park.
The man was identified as Eric Wright, 50. He was last seen Wednesday evening, police said. His mother reported him missing Friday, and said he had not taken his medication with him. She was worried that he had suffered a medical emergency.
Police said they do not suspect foul play in Wright’s death. Andrew Dunn and WBTV
