3 arrested on meth charges after drug bust at Rock Hill motel

York County drug agents arrested three Rock Hill residents and seized narcotics Tuesday after a bust at Rock Hill motel.

Tuesday morning at the Red Roof Inn on Riverview Road, authorities seized 11 grams of methamphetamine, half a gram of heroin, 55 units of Xanax and other pills, according to an incident report from the York County sheriff’s office.

Kelsey Letha Rachel Connick, 24, is jailed on charges of trafficking meth and other drug charges, according to police and jail records. Her bond is set at $56,500.

Brandon Chaz Smith, faces the same charges as Connick plus a charge of resisting arrest after allegedly struggling with officers during the incident. His bond is $66,000.

Smith has past convictions for drugs, burglary and conspiracy and was arrested in June on other drug charges and Oct. 3 for public disorderly conduct, police and jail records show.

Christopher Wayne Moore, 26, was charged with meth possession and remains jailed on a $3,000 bond.

All three are in the York County jail.
