Homeless man arrested after York police say he urinated on tractor

Police arrested a homeless man after he was reportedly seen urinating on tractor equipment on display at a supply store.

York police were alerted that the man was seen publicly urinating on the 800 block of East Liberty Street around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 29. When police approached the 35-year-old man, he denied relieving himself on the equipment although he reportedly admitted he had gone in the woods nearby, according to an incident report.

Police noted the man was slurring his speech while speaking to them, appeared unsteady on his feet, and smelled like alcohol. The man told them he was homeless and was on his way to a friend’s house. He was charged with public disorderly conduct and booked at the York Police Department.
