Cabarrus County deputies are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man they say robbed two banks in Harrisburg on Saturday morning.
The Wells Fargo Bank and the Fifth Third Bank on Highway 49 were robbed within 10 minutes of each other. The robberies occurred between 10:50 and 11 a.m.
The man is in his late 20s or early 30s, between 5-feet-7-inches and 5-feet-10-inches tall with an average build. He wore dark sunglasses and a fitted black head covering during the robberies.
In one of the robberies, deputies say, the man wore white pants and a gray Nike sweatshirt over a white shirt. At the other location, he wore a royal blue hoodie over a white shirt.
No one was injured, and the robber didn’t appear to have a weapon.
Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office at 704-920-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 704-93CRIME (704-932-7463). Callers can remain anonymous.
