A Charlotte man was arrested this week in the May 26 rape of a Gaston County teenager.
Gaston County Police charged Paul Nock, 51, with first-degree statutory rape. The victim is 15 years old and unrelated to Nock, police said.
Nock has cooperated with investigators and turned himself in at the Gaston County Jail on Tuesday, police said. He is free on $50,000 bail, jail records show.
Police said they are releasing no other details about the case.
