Salisbury police are searching for a woman charged with first-degree murder in the May 24 fatal shooting of Lacynda Diane Feimster.
Police found Feimster, 38, dead in her home in the 300 block of Crown Point Drive after they responded to a report of someone shot in a home invasion. A second victim was hit in the face with a weapon, police said. That victim was treated and released at Novant Health Rowan Regional Medical Center.
Police are asking the public’s help in finding Sindy Lina Abbitt, 33, of Salisbury, who also is charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
Anyone with information on Abbitt’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the Salisbury Police Department at 704-638-5333 or Crime Stoppers at 866-639-5245.
