Huntersville jewelry store robbed by 2 helmeted males

Huntersville police are asking for the public’s help finding two males who robbed Brownlee Jewelers on Sam Furr Road Thursday.

One of the robbers had a gun when the pair entered the store at about 12:30 p.m., wearing teal motorcycle helmets.

The robbers stole jewelry and left on a black-and-silver motorcycle, police said. No one was injured.

One of the robbers wore a gray shirt with dark sleeves, black pants, black tennis shoes and black gloves. The other robber wore a black short-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, white socks, black tennis shoes and black gloves.

The motorcycle was found near the store after the robbery.
