Arrests made after string of Lenoir City and Caldwell County break ins

Officials have arrested two Lenoir men after a string of break ins around Lenoir City and Caldwell County last month.

Andrew Jennings Jr, 26, and Luis Rodriguez, 29, were arrested Thursday and have both been charged with numerous felonies, including breaking and/or entering and obtaining property by false pretense, according to the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators from the sheriff’s office and Lenoir police responded to numerous break-ins between April 23 and April 29 in both jurisdictions.

Officials continue to investigate leads from other reported break ins and anticipate additional charges for both men.

“Through the cooperation of both agencies and their resources, investigators were able to quickly identify and arrest both suspects,” said Sheriff Alan Jones.

“It is because of the efforts of the officers working together they were able to recover the valued property of the victims in these cases.”

Both men were taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center, Jennings under a $150,000 secured bond, Rodriguez under a $50,000 bond. Both men are scheduled to appear in court Monday.
