Bullet grazes man’s forehead during Lincoln County card game

A bullet grazed a man’s forehead when a masked gunman barged into a Lincoln County home where five people were playing cards early Saturday.

The shooting happened at about 1:45 a.m. in a single-wide mobile home in the 3600 block of Gladden Drive, just south of Maiden.

An intruder fired several shots after entering the home through the back door, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said. Only Timothy Dravon Burris, 43, was shot. Burris was treated at Carolinas HealthCare System Lincoln. He was not listed as a patient later Saturday.

Investigators said they were interviewing a person of interest in the shooting.
