Four people were arrested on multiple charges after an investigation in heroin trafficking in Mint Hill.
On August 28, law enforcement officials from several different agencies conducted a search warrant at a home on the 5200 block of Wilgrove-Mint Hill Road.
During the search, a total of 132 grams of black tar heroin, 102 grams of brown powder heroin, and $1,433 in cash were seized.
The drugs, officials said, had a street value of approximately $23,500.
After the search, four people were arrested on various charges related to the trafficking of heroin including sale of heroin within 1,000 feet of a school and 1,000 feet of a public park.
Mint Hill Police, Matthews Police, NC State Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations and Pineville Police all contributed to the investigation.
