Lincoln teen sought by state corrections officials

A Lincoln County teen in custody at a state corrections facility in Cabarrus County is missing, and state officials said the youth failed to return after a home visit Sunday.

The missing teen, identified only as Levi M., was in custody at the Stonewall Jackson Youth Development Center near Concord, according to officials with the Division of Adult Correction and Juvenile Justice.

The teen was making a home visit and was last seen around noon Sunday in a wooded area near a home on N.C. 73 in Iron Station, authorities said.

State officials ask that anyone with information in the case call local law enforcement authorities.
