Gastonia police are looking for suspects in connection with two home invasions and an armed robbery, all of which took place within 45 minutes early Tuesday morning.
The crimes took place several miles apart, and police are working to determine if any of the incidents were connected. No injuries were reported.
The first incident was reported around midnight in the 500 block of North Ransom Street, a short distance northwest of downtown Gastonia. Police said two men posing as stranded motorists forced their way into a residence and robbed a couple at gunpoint.
The suspects left with cash, a computer and software, and two cellphones, authorities said.

About 15 minutes later and 5 miles away, an armed man forced his way into an apartment in the 1800 block of Robinwood Road, police said. The suspect got away with several items and threatened the victim, police said.
Then about 15 minutes later and 3 miles away, four men robbed a 31-year-old man at gunpoint, taking a cellphone and other items.
