According to WBTV, first responders were conducting water rescues on Tyvola Road and Colony Road. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police reported a disabled vehicle in the 800 block of Tyvola Road.
Motorists and others should look out for trouble spots at Interstate 85 and Freedom Drive, the Steele Creek community, uptown Charlotte, the Starmount neighborhood and neighborhoods near SouthPark and Eastland Malls.
