CMPD searching for suspect in Randolph Road credit union robbery

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect they said robbed the Allegacy Credit Union on Randolph Road at gunpoint on Thursday.

Police said the credit union branch at 1900 Randolph Road was robbed around 3 p.m. when a male suspect with a handgun demanded money from a bank employee.

The suspect left on foot and is described as a black male, approximately 20 years old, about 6-feet tall with a thin build and neck-length dreadlocks.
