Police seek Charlotte Walmart robbery suspect

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking the public’s help in finding the man suspected of robbing a bank inside a Walmart store in north Charlotte.

The robbery was reported about 3:15 p.m. Saturday at the Walmart in the 7700 block of North Tryon Street, police said.

Investigators said a man approached an employee in the Money Center, indicated he had a weapon, and demanded money. The man fled with the money, according to police reports. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a white male with a beard, about 30 years old. The suspect was wearing a gray tank top and a backwards ball cap.
