Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say they are dealing with a pair of serial perfume thieves.
Two men are accused of pulling off four thefts of perfume from Ulta Beauty stores during a three-day period last week. Police said a suspect threatened a store employee in one case.
The first case was reported about 3:15 p.m. Thursday, when a man entered the Ulta Beauty shop in the 200 block of Sharon Amity Road and allegedly picked up two bottles of perfume before walking out the front door without paying.
Then shortly after 5:45 p.m. Friday, police said, a second suspect entered the same Ulta Beauty shop and took two bottles of perfume without paying.

A few hours later, the first suspect walked into an Ulta Beauty shop in the 8100 block of Ikea Boulevard, police said. According to investigators, the suspect took four bottles and perfume and tried to walk out. When an employee confronted the man, according to police, the suspect threatened to spray the employee with mace.
The fourth case was at 8:15 p.m. Saturday at the Ulta Beauty in the 13500 block of Hoover Creek Boulevard in southwest Charlotte. Police said the first suspect took six bottles of perfume that he hid in a bag.
