Lenoir woman charged with drug counts after car stop

Police arrested a Lenoir woman on drug charges after stopping a car in the 800 block of Blowing Rock Boulevard this week and finding 60 Methadone Hydrochlorde and 44 Alprazolam pills inside, along with drug paraphernalia.

Regina Rae Bolick, 34, was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute a schedule II controlled substance, felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute a schedule IV controlled substance and four counts of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bolick was jailed under a $100,000 secured bond. She was a passenger in the 2006 Ford Taurus.

The driver, Joshua Thomas Bowman, 33, of Lenoir, was charged with misdemeanor counts of driving while license revoked, altering a registration card or tag and having an expired or fictitious registration. Bowman was jailed under a $2,500 secured bond.
