Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating a Thursday morning shooting in west Charlotte that left a man seriously wounded.
The shooting was reported about 8:30 a.m. in the 2700 block of Boyer Street, near the Billy Graham Parkway. Officers found the victim on the property of Piedmont Advantage Credit Union.
Medic said it took the victim to Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
No arrest has been announced in the case, but police are still investigating.
Craig Fishel, a spokesman for Piedmont Advantage Credit Union, said the shooting did not take place on business property. “We are investigating why the alleged victims came to Piedmont Advantage Credit Union to contact emergency services,” Fishel said.
