A 22-year-old woman was charged with assault after another woman reported she was assaulted inside the bathroom of a Myrtle Beach gentleman’s club with a high heel shoe, according to authorities.
Carolynn Elizabeth Wright, 22, of Myrtle Beach was charged Monday with second-degree assault and battery, according to police records. She was taken into custody at 2200 S. Ocean Blvd.
Wright was charged in connection with a 24-year-old reporting she was assaulted about 1:30 a.m. Nov. 13 inside the bathroom of Chez Joey, a gentleman’s club at 716 Seaboard St., police said.
The police report showed Wright is a dancer at the club.

The victim was being treated at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center when officers arrived at 2 a.m. and the victim said the assault happened about 30 minutes before she went to the hospital.
The victim had two puncture wounds to her head that required staples, a swollen left eye and some swelling to her head, according to the report.
In the report, the victim told police she was in the bathroom when the suspect approached her, grabbed her by the hair and then pushed her down. The victim said the suspect took a clear plastic high heel shoe and began hitting the victim in the head and face.
No other details were listed in the report.
