Stanly County authorities have arrested one man and are looking for another, in connection with a series of break-ins Friday in the eastern part of the county.
Deputies said Marques McCormick, 22, of Albemarle, was taken into custody later Friday and is jailed under $100,000 bond. He was charged with four counts of breaking and entering, three counts of damage to property, and larceny after breaking and entering.
Investigators said they are looking for Marcus Crump, 18, of Albemarle. Warrants have been issued for his arrest, authorities said.
The sheriff’s office said additional arrests are possible in the case.

Deputies said they received several calls Friday about break-ins along Strand Drive, near Badin Lake. Electronic devices, firearms and other items were taken, authorities said. About $2,500 worth of items was recovered, according to deputies.
