Police request help finding man who robbed Charlotte CVS

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police need help identifying the man they say walked into a CVS pharmacy, manhandled a cashier and got away with money Monday evening.

At about 6 p.m., police say a man walked into the CVS at 6110 The Plaza. After browsing the aisles, the man walked to the front register with items to purchase, authorities say.

He reached across the counter and grabbed the cashier, demanding money from the register, police said. The suspect indicated he had a weapon and, once he got the money, fled from the store on foot.

The suspect, who police described as sporting a tattoo of flames on the front of his neck, was last seen wearing a red flannel shirt, black and blue baseball cap, dark pants, and black and white sneakers.

Anyone with information concerning this case or the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600. To learn more about the Crime Stoppers mobile app, please visit charlottecrimestoppers.com.
