Police announced his arrest shortly after noon Tuesday, about a half hour after they identified him and asked the public for help in locating him.

McGill was arrested without incident in the 500 block of West Sixth Street by CMPD’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team.

Robert Edward Miller, 26, was shot in the parking lot at the Lake Arbor apartments on Timberbrook Drive around 4:30 p.m. Monday. The victim and suspect apparently knew each other, police said.
