One person has potentially life-threatening injuries after a wreck Wednesday morning in uptown Charlotte, authorities said.
About 9:25 a.m., the Charlotte Fire Department said there was a collision with an entrapment at East Ninth and College streets. A dozen firefighters worked to free the victim in about 10 minutes.
That person was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with potentially life-threatening injuries, Medic spokesman Lester Oliva said.
Another patient was treated at the scene for minor injuries, Oliva said.
