Christopher Moses, 26, sought in 2 Charlotte carjackings

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are searching for a 26-year-old man who they say is connected to two carjackings in the area.

Felony warrants have been issued for Christopher Moses on charges of robbery and possession of a firearm by a felon in relation to two carjackings, police said.

The first incident occurred about 2:55 p.m. on Dec. 22 near the intersection of Pressley Road and Rose Vine Place in the Westover Division. In that case, the victim said someone put a gun to his head and stole his 2005 silver Mercedes Benz E500, according to police reports.

The second incident was reported about 10:39 a.m. on Jan. 2 at 1800 Haines St. in the Metro Division, according to police reports. In that case, the victim said the suspect robbed him at gunpoint and stole his 1999 green Honda Accord.

Moses is known to frequent the Southside Homes and Brookhill areas of the Westover Division, police said.
