Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking for the public’s help in finding a car that drove away after hitting a pedestrian at Albemarle Road and Lawyers Road early Saturday.
The victim was left lying in the road with life-threatening injuries, police said. Medic took the person to Carolinas Medical Center.
The car hit the pedestrian at about 2:15 a.m. and drove away on outbound Albemarle Road, police said.
