Law enforcers say they have found a methamphetamine lab off Deep Water Lane in northern Iredell County.

Probation officers were doing a compliance check on Tammy McFarland Blair, 49, when they noticed equipment for methamphetamine production, a Iredell County Sheriff’s Office press release said.

The Narcotics Investigation Unit of the sheriff’s office searched the house and found enough supplies for drug production to charge Blair with felony manufacture of methamphetamine and felony possession of methamphetamine precursors, the release said.

Iredell County Environmental Services was called in and deemed the house unfit to live in until it can be cleaned up. Iredell County Animal Care and Control is taking care of dogs and other animals found on the property.

Blair was taken to the Iredell County Detention Center and placed on a $30,000 bond.
