The final suspect involved in the largest methamphetamine lab operation discovered to date in Iredell County was arrested Friday.
Frederick Lee Grant was arrested on 13 counts of felony manufacturing methamphetamine and two counts of felony child abuse. These charges stem from an Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Squad investigation that took place on July 29 at 120 Darlene Ln. in Harmony. When they arrived at the scene, investigators quickly identified remains of several methamphetamine manufacturing items.
Over 200 “one pot” labs were discovered and mitigated by members of the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigation Unit and Agents with the North Carolina SBI.
Statesville police arrested three other suspects upon finding meth-making chemicals in their car during a traffic stop July 26.
