Information gleaned from an electronic monitoring device led police to a suspect in a recent east Charlotte break-in.
Devario Deshawn Hoover, 17, was arrested and charged Wednesday with felony breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering. He was jailed on $25,000 bail.
Police said information from the monitoring device, which Hoover had been wearing for his probation on unrelated crimes, showed he had been at the break-in victim’s home.
The case involved a Jan. 19 house break-in in the 7500 block of Blythwood Lane, off East W.T. Harris Boulevard.
