Biden to speak at USC commencement

Vice President Joe Biden will deliver the commencement address Friday at graduation ceremonies for several colleges at the University of South Carolina.

South Carolina, like a number of schools in the Carolinas, is splitting commencement exercises across two days. UNC Charlotte also will have commencement exercises Friday and Saturday.

Here are Friday’s graduation ceremonies in the Carolinas:

• Campbell University: Pope Convocation Center. 10 a.m., School of Law; 3 p.m., Pharmacy and Health Sciences; 7 p.m., Divinity School. Additional ceremonies Saturday.

• 

College of Charleston:

Cistern yard. 10 a.m., Business; Health and Human Performance; Science and Mathematics. 4 p.m., Arts; Humanities and Social Studies; Languages, Culture and World Affairs. Speaker: Lt. Gov. Glenn McConnell.



• 

East Carolina University:

Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. 9 a.m.



• 

University of South Carolina:

Colonial Life Arena. 3 p.m., schools of Business, Mass Communications and Information Studies; Nursing; Pharmacy; Public Health. Speaker: Vice President Joe Biden. Additional ceremonies Saturday.

South Carolina State University:

Oliver Davidson Stadium. 7 p.m.



• 

UNC Charlotte:

Barnhardt Student Center. 1:30 p.m. For schools of Computing and Informatics; Business; Health and Human Services. Additional ceremonies Saturday.

UNC Greensboro:

Greensboro Coliseum. 10 a.m.

UNC Wilmington:

Trask Coliseum. Friday: 2 p.m., Business; 5:30 p.m., Education; Health and Human Services. Additional ceremonies Saturday.
