Penelope Beth Crisp has been named principal at Lansdowne IB Elementary School in southeast Charlotte.
Crisp, most recently an academic facilitator at Endhaven Elementary, was appointed to the Lansdowne position by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Board at its Tuesday evening meeting.
Before going to Endhaven Elementary, Crisp was a principal at Clear Creek and Torrence Creek elementary schools. She also has been a teacher and assistant principal with CMS.
Crisp received a bachelors degree at UNC Chapel Hill and a masters from UNC Charlotte.
