“Carowinds inspectors Jamie Cooper (left) and Robbie Wade walk step by step over the Carowinds Thunder Road roller coaster early Friday morning, searching for loose nails and making sure the ride is safe. The inspectors report to work at dawn each day to inspect all the rides before the park opens at 10 am. Friday is the first day of the amusement park's summer schedule.” June, 1999
