On Tuesday, Charlotte voters will choose nominees for mayor and a majority of City Council seats. They’ll pick the people who’ll determine how much they pay in taxes and where that money is spent. But turnout is expected to be low. Only around 10 percent of voters are expected to cast ballots. That gives each voter an out-sized voice. Early voting ended Saturday. Polls will be open 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
