Contact Us: Have election concerns?

Are you worried about the influence of campaign money on how state government operates?

Do you wonder about the openness of state government meetings?

Do you think lobbyists in Raleigh have too much power?

The two major candidates for governor – Republican Pat McCrory and Democrat Beverly Perdue – will offer their thoughts on such issues during a forum Tuesday in Raleigh. The Observer's partner, the (Raleigh) News & Observer, is coordinating coverage of the event.

If you have questions for McCrory or Perdue about lobbyists, campaign contributions or openness in government, send them to dome@newsobserver.com. We'll try to ask the candidates some of the questions, and publish the results in Wednesday's paper.

Please include your name, age, occupation and party affiliation (Democrat, Republican or unaffiliated); town where you live; and a photo of yourself and a daytime phone number, just in case we need to contact you.
