Donald Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Star gets wall with barbed wire
As Donald Trump was officially crowned the Republican nominee for president in Cleveland at the Republican National Convention, tourist in California visiting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame were stopped by six-inch concrete-looking wall built around it.
The temporary protest, which included barbwire-like protection and “Keep out” signs, appears to be a swipe at the Republican candidate’s proposed immigration enforcement policies. The real estate mogul has proposed building a massive wall along the U.S.-Mexico border and deporting the estimated 11 million immigrants living in the U.S. illegally.
It’s unclear who built the wall, but design placed in the corner points to local artist local artist Plastic Jesus, who has put up other anti-Trump street art around the city.
