The attorney for former Charlotte Mayor Patrick Cannon said he doesn’t expect any developments concerning his client before late May at the earliest.
“I don’t expect anything will happen before then,” James Ferguson told a reporter.
Cannon resigned in March after he was arrested on federal corruption charges for allegedly taking bribes worth $48,000.
Asked how Cannon’s doing, Ferguson said, “Under the circumstances, he’s doing well.” Jim Morrill
