An 11-year-old girl has been recovered after reportedly being “abducted” in North Carolina by a woman driving a Jeep, police say.

“Kamora Thomas has been safely located! Additional information is not immediately available,” the Greensboro Police Department reported around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Thomas was last seen around 4:45 p.m. Monday, June 8, in the 3600 block of Belmont Street, and was reported missing around 6:45 p.m., officials said.

“Kamora Thomas was abducted by an unknown black female who was operating an orange-colored Jeep Wrangler bearing a Georgia license tag of ETL069,” police said in a social media post.

An Amber Alert described Kamora as 5 feet, 1 inch tall, African-American, 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white graphic Tee-shirt, pink pajama pants and black slippers with jewels, police say.

Greensboro is about a 90-mile drive northeast from uptown Charlotte.
